Start from the Santuario di Machaby carpark, 45.636154 7.746954). To the right of the carpark, looking up the valley, there are some waterwork buildings. Take the track between these buildings which quickly turns right and shortly gives access to a little path that crosses the stream on the right, (cairn and rubber waterpipe.) Go up through the woods on faint tracks. Initially the cairns are difficult to spot but the situation gets better as the terrain steepens and the vegetation less dense. The start is in a flat recess with a big tree against the rock on the left. A little higher up is a sign for another route “Senza Mani”. (45.635912 7.751787)
